Pozer’s Takeover: From Croydon to the Tate Modern Rooftop

Pozer isn’t just making waves—he’s flooding the whole scene. Fresh off a MOBO win for Best Drill Act and a sold-out UK tour, the Croydon-born artist is levelling up once again, this time as the face of JD x New Balance’s NB1000 campaign. And where better to launch it than a live rooftop performance on a shipping container—right in front of the Tate Modern?
With the London skyline behind him and a sea of fans below, Pozer owned the moment, dropping cuts from his latest EP Against All Odds and surprise cypher bars with Dutch collaborator Lusho, plus JS and RYZ. The JD stage was more than a promo—it was a cultural stamp.
“It’s a moment. Man’s doing things out here!” he said, soaking in the scene.
While most drill MCs ride trends, Pozer builds worlds. Fusing Jersey Club rhythms with drill’s gritty edge, his tracks are as emotionally charged as they are technically clean—thanks to his right-hand producer RA Tha Gawd. Their chemistry is undeniable, dating back to their first link-up for “Kitchen Stove.”
The NB1000 campaign reflects that same duality: retro but futuristic, chunky yet sleek—a perfect fit for Pozer’s unpredictable, genre-bending style. He’s not shy about fashion either, describing his style as “impulsive” and teasing the possibility of a Pozer x New Balance collab.

“When you think of England now, you have to mention me,” he laughs—but he’s not joking.
With a mixtape on the horizon and talks of designing his own kicks, Pozer isn’t just riding the drill wave—he’s reshaping the tide.
Keep your eyes on Pozer. He’s not following the blueprint—he’s drawing a new one
